Spirit filled Moments
The time when the outside world is not pressing in
Just kicking it with my Father
you know what I mean
you're there in your prayer closet
Nothing else matters or interferes
Peaceful, smooth, relaxing, vanilla scented spaces of time
You can taste the moment when God is with you
Your senses are brighter, sharper, and
everything feels right in your world
You hold on to those times as long as you can
and sometimes try to recapture them later
but discover that it's not so easily done
which makes them all the more sweeter until the next time
when God touches your heart and says chil' well done
